Artist Bio

Lewis is best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the alternative rock band Staind.  Staind has released seven studio albums and sold over 15 million records worldwide.  They’ve had many singles to chart high on the US rock charts.  Their successful 2001 single, “It’s Been Awhile” sent their third studio album, Break the Cycle, to the top of the Billboard Top 200 Album charts for a No. 1 debut.  The album also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseeker Charts.  Their followup album, 14 Shades of Grey, also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200.  The album featured several mainstream hits including”Price to Play”, “So Far Away”, and “How About You.”   Their last album, Staind, was released in 2011. They have been on hiatus since 2014 as the various band members pursue other projects.

Since 2010, Lewis has been pursuing a solo country career.  He’s released three full-length albums and one EP.  His debut album, The Road, was released in 2016 and featured the country charting single “Endless Summer”.    His latest album, State I’m In, was released on April 12, 2019.  The album features 10 tracks, six of which Lewis wrote or collaborated on himself.
