Sturgill Simpson is set to bring his Why Not? 2024 Tour to Lexington, Ky on September 27, 2024. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on June 14 at 10:00am.
Sturgill makes his return to music with a new album titled Passage Du Desir on July 12… however, it’s under a new name: meet Johnny Blue Skies. According to Rolling Stone, Sturgill stated that he only planned to release five albums and that he was done releasing under his own name after 2021’s The Ballad of Dood and Juanita. The original band members have returned on this album and tour, so it appears that not a lot has changed.
