Artist Bio

Bruce Hornsby is a singer-songwriter and pianist best known for his 1986 hit “The Way It Is.” He’s toured and collaborated with various artists of all genres including the Grateful Dead, Ricky Skaggs, Justin Vernon, Jack Dejohnette, and Blake Mills. He’s been recognized with several industry awards including the 1987 Grammy Award for Best New Artist, the 1990 Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album, and Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance in 1994.

Bruce’s latest album, Absolute Zero, was released in April of 2019. The album features several collaborations with other notable artists including Bon Iver, The Staves, Brad Cook, and yMusic.
