Lost Dog Street Band will be taking the stage in less than a week at The Burl Ky.  The band will be joined by opening acts Casper Allen and Bob Summer.

Lost Dog Street Band has had five total releases.  The three-piece is currently on tour to support their latest release, Weight of a Trigger, which features the amazing ballad Terrible and True.  The 10-song release offers a look into the hard truths of love, addiction, death, and inner demons.  Check out Weight of a Trigger below:

Lost Dog Street Band Bio

Frontman and primary songwriter, Benjamin Tod, left home at 16 to play music on the streets.  The aimless rambler spent time living under bridges, sleeping in jail cells, and hopping freight trains.  In some states, he’s still a wanted man with active warrants.  He’s battled addiction and watched many friends die along the way.  Tod draws upon these experiences for inspiration in his songwriting.

Tod met his partner in life and in the band, Ashley Mae, as teenagers in the Nashville punk scene.  She lends her hand to the band as an accomplished fiddle player and an amazing harmony singer.  The couple formed Lost Dog Street Band in the winter of 2010 with the vision to pair the Americana sound with real storytelling as traditional American troubadours.  The couple is now joined by bassist Jeff Loops — formerly of Deep Chatham.
